If : If you wear your aligners the prescribed 22 hours a day you should be able to move to the next aligner every two weeks. At that rate you will be done with the initial aligners in 28 weeks. Many patients do somewhat less than the 22 and can comfortably advance only after 3 weeks.

Congratulations : Congratulations on your choice to have invisalgn. You are being given correct information and your case is planned to take 28 weeks. Most invisalign cases take less than a year and yours certainly falls within that time frame. Be sure to wear your aligners as instructed to stay on track. At the end of your 14 trays your doc may want to "tweak" things a bit with refinement aligners or small modifications to the last aligner so give a few extra weeks just in case. Think how great this is compared to years in regular braces.

Two : Two weeks per aligner is the normal protocol, as long as you wear them 22 hours per day or more.

Depends: Everyone's orthodontic needs are different and the duration of treatments are also quite different. Some patients may require only short treatments of about 6 months but others may extend to two year. It is most important to follow your orthodontist's instructions and remember that more than one series of aligners may be required.

2 weeks per tray: 2 weeks is the normal duration for each tray. After the initial trays are used a refinement may be needed. It may take more than the intial trays to complete the care.

2 weeks per tray: 2 weeks for each tray is normal. You can check acceledent on the internet if you are in a hurry. It should reduce your wear time by about a third.

Yes, but ...: 2 weeks is indeed typically what is expected for wear per tray (at about 23 hours/day). However, I am concerned with any dr. Who gives you all of your trays at once. Regular monitoring and adjustments are typically required. For example, we give 3 sets at a time as ask for appointments. Are you using an orthodontist or general dentist? I would be concerned with this method of treatment.

Yes: Providing you wear the trays AT LEAST 22 hrs/day. I hope you are under the care of a fully qualified Orthodontist rather than a restorative dentist that just dabbles in an extremely sophisticated are of health care that requires years of specialized training for best outcomes.
