As : As with any medical or dental problem, it is almost impossible to determine the cost of treatment without a proper assessment of the problem. For your problem the initial assessment will typically include a clinical examination with full charting of the condition of the gum and bone as well as xrays. I recommend that you call several periodontists that your dentist recommends in your area and ask if they can provide you an estimate for those services.

Average : Average range of periodontal evaluation is between $80 - $300 which consists of oral and periodontal exam and x-rays. Some new or expanding periodontal offices also give discount prices for consultation. Dental schools are another source of economical alternative.
