Doable?: Can't tell without an examination. Do not know the extent or your hard and soft tissue loss. Do not know your occlusion. Implant/crown after extraction may be the treatment of choice. Would suggest you see a Periodontist, a gum/bone specialist, for an informed opinion.

LANAP: See a Periodontist for an evaluation. Consider even getting two different opinions. If they both thing the tooth is hopeless then I would recommend having it extracted. Some patients look for miracle treatments or one with very little chance of success. Why throw away money unless the Periodontist says you have at least a 50/50% chance of success? Sometimes we just have to bite the bullet.
