It : It really depends on what your problem is and how your dentist is planning to correct it. Take for example that your problem is crowding. Your dentist will have to create space in order to resolve the crowding. If the plan is to gain the space by expanding the dental arch, you may not see much improvement of the crowding until the expansion is accomplished. However, if the plan is to gain the space by reducing the size of the very teeth that are crowded, you may see improvement of the crowding in the first month or two.

The : The above answer is excellent. It really depends on the nature of your case. I have seen movement that is visible within the first month. You cetainly can see the movement before you even start the case when the doctor shows you the clincheck, which is a computer representation of your entire case. More of that will be explained at your consult. Good luck!

1 to 3 months: You'll notice a change in about 5 weeks. Mild crookedness can be straighten in about 4 months. Be aware of rotation. This is a very difficult and time consuming move.

Changes within weeks: Clear aligners and braces both produce changes in your smile within weeks of starting treatment. Everyone's orthodontics needs are different and so, too, will be the duration of your treatment.

Depends: It depends on the amount of changes that are needed and your existing bite. Different movements and corrections are planned at different intervals when using invisalign. Ask your orthodontist to show you the clincheck and you will see the stages of the tooth movements and get the details of the timing.

As little as 6 weeks: If it is just minor crowding, there are a series of 5 or 10 aligners, changing them every 2 weeks.

Depends: First make sure you are seeing a tooth alignment expert, a qualified orthodontic specialist. Manf gp's do invisalign treatment , usually not well, without in depth understanding of the relevant science. Complexity of treatment affects time in treatment. The more skilled the practitioner, the less time in treatment, the better the result. See a pro.

Depends: No matter who does your invisalign case, the time needed will depend mostly on how much movement, if there needs to be intrusion, if a cross bite is involved. At our office I have an othro diplomate and sometimes we slow the case down due to short roots or other extenuating circumstances. Slower can be better. Ask a very experienced ortho and or pankey bite trained dentist.

It depends: The time in which you will notice change during the course of your invisalign treatment will depend upon the degree of difficulty of your case and the treatment objectives. The doctor who you select to treat your case will be in the best position to answer your question.

It depends: Invisalign offers express options for people with minor crowdings. You can get the result in as little as 2 or 3 months. This is merly an assumption. It is almost impossible to diagnos without a clinical exam and an invisalign consultation. What seems as minor crowdings in your eyes maybe sever malocclusion or extreme rotations that may require a much more lengthier treatment.

Too hard to tell: Any dr. Who responds otherwise is not giving you good advice. Without an orthodontist seeing your teeth, an estimate based on the details you provided is impossible. The best answer will be provided during your consult.
