Magic: Sorry... Really there is no magic. However, braces come in many forms, including clear braces and also braces that go behind the teeth. If you dont want braces, then removable appliances are the way to go. The most popular removable appliance is invisalign, but there are also other forms such as crozat, positioners, and spring aligners. Check with your orthodontist to see which is right for you.

Least invasive..: Ortho braces and invisalign are the least invasive ways to straighten crooked teeth. Advanced cosmetic dentistry procedure like veneers and crowns can also give the result of 'straight teeth', but it will likely be more expensive than orthodontic braces or invisalign. Consult with a dentist.

Braces: Best way, straighten teeth/jaws w braces (see an orthodontic specialist). More than 90% effective. 2nd best, invisalign. In the hands of an orthodontic specialist, 41% effective. Less effective in hands of generalist. 3rd best, surgery. Reshape the crowns of the teeth without straightening the roots. This is camouflage, looks better but doesn't "fix" malalignment, and costs more than 1 or 2.

See an orthodontist: Braces and/or invisalign are the best modes to straighten crooked teeth. Cosmetic solutions such as crowns and veneers can camouflage some crooked teeth but won't change the root position or the overall malocclusion. Since most orthodontists offer free consultations i would suggest that you see one of your choice and they will tell you your options.

Orthodontist: Can discuss with you options, but different types of braces and/or invisalign are indeed the most common solutions.
