If confirmation that you are doing the right thing is required from us as an answer then yes i endorse your having the implants placed that will allow you to have a fixed ( implant supported) denture. Having six implants for complete reconstruction of an arch upper or lower it seem a little shy, having all these procedures and not putting 8 implants if at all possible it would be a pity, please try to coordinate with your surgeon placing the implant the option of 8 implants and he should also coordinate this other option for a more accurate or predictable outcome of your treatment plan.
