A member asked:

What to do? scaphoid repair with bone graft, two pins and four months of cast and surgeon just confirmed that surgery was not a success, what next?

Cure not guaranteed: that is unfortunate. Even the best done surgical procedure does not always guarantee perfect results. They will likely present you options such as a vascularized bone graft & revision of the same procedure. Sometimes a partial wrist fusion with scaphoid excision is required. Always seek a second opinion, especially in a situation like this, from a tertiary care center wrist specialist for help.
