A mandibular tori: is a bony growth on the lower jaw. They are usually asymptomatic with causes such as such as bruxism, vitamin deficiencies, calcium supplements & genetics. If it was only on one -side and was actively growing that would be of more concern. However, there is asymetry throughout our bodies. Please see: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4527908/

Mandibular tori: Perfectly normal, shared by approximately 25% of the population. Benign boney exostosis (overgrowth). Usually slightly asymmetric as we are, in all things, slightly asymmetric. Although many possible causes have been suggested, primary cause is probably genetic. Unless they bother you, or grow exceptionally large, follow the Oral Surgeon's advice.
