You have a complex problem requiring multidisciplinary care. Ask your General Dentist to refer you to an Orthodontist for evaluation. The Orthodontist, Generalist, and Oral Surgeon should then consult to establish a coordinated treatment plan. Orthodontic care may reduce or eliminate joint symptoms. Splint therapy prior to braces is often indicated. Seek competent care.
