No: Once you have a scar it will never go away. However, all scars fade with time. If your scar is relatively new (but at least 3 weeks old) you can massage it to try to get it to fade faster. Push hard and make small circles along the entire scar for 10 minutes a time 3 times a day.

Fades: Scars fade with time. A tummy tuck scar is easily concealed by a bikini or underwear. The scar will always be there, though.

Just fade away: Scars never disappear but many will fade away to a barely perceptible scar. Avoiding sun exposure and use of topical silastic sheeting or paper tape therapy may help but it generally takes up to two years for this to occur

Improve for most....: Tummy tuck scars improve over time for most patients. They do not disappear but in many patients become only occasionally noticeable. This has to do with the genetics of the patient, how she treats the scar and the surgeon's technique.

It should fade . . .: but will never disappear entirely. Any time an incision is made, a scar will occur. For tummy tucks, surgical technique and scar placement are key for getting a well placed, thinner scar. http://www.cosmeticsurg.net/blog/2014/01/29/what-do-tummy-tuck-scars-look-like/
