A member asked:

Is liposculpture the same thing as liposuction? what is the difference between liposculpture and liposuction? do they both remove the same amounts of fat, and can both be done on the same parts of the body? what is the maximum number of pounds i can have

No : No difference. The difference is the doctor, think of a beautiful painting, is not the brushes but the artistry of the plastic surgeon. Please make sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon some states and hospitals establish limits as to how much fat can be aspirated.

Different goals: Liposuction is the action of removing fat for a better contour, not necessarily an etched contour. Liposculpture is for normal weight patients who want to create the six pack look, show biceps contour without the sit ups or weight lifting.

Same: Liposuction and liposculpture are the same thing. It is just marketing. http://www.dassmd.com/liposuction/index.html.
