Have dentist evaluat: Perhaps you have a sore on the gum. Have the dentist evaluate it. Something may have irritated the gum, even a cold or virus may have irritated the gum.

Denture, cold sores: Denture irritation and cold sores are two of the many things that can cause gum pain. Speak to your dentist if you have this problem.
