Gum disease: Gum disease can cause tissues to shrink and expose raw root surfaces that are very sensitive also it can cause swelling of the gums making them bleed. It is basically an infection but one that can be easily cured so see your dentist.

GUM DISEASE: Pain in your teeth and bleeding are generally a sign of inflamation that may be caused by periodontal disease "gum disease". You should see your dentist, for there are other causes as well.
