Gum chewing: Chewing gum every day can be detrimental to teeth and jaw joints. See your own dentist to evaluate your mouth, check the health of gums, teeth, bone and jaw joints. He/she will be in a better position to advise you rather than that general question to dentists over the internet who cannot examine you.

Possibly: If you chew gum containing sugar, then the gum might cause you to get tooth decay. We recommend sugarless if you must chew. The constant working of your jaw muscles can contribute to TMJ - a painful condition of the jaw and its joints. Absent pain and if you are brushing and flossing, then the gum is probably OK.
