<h1> In 1974, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania - School of Dental Medicine with his D.M.D. degree. During the years 1974 -1975 he was a hospital based Resident at the Medical College Hospital of Pennsylvania. In the following 10 years, he taught at the Medical College Hospital of Pennsylvania the Dental School at the University of Pennsylvania. </h1>
