What can i do for treatment with a child born with a club foot?

Find a surgeon: Podiatrist or foot ad ankle surgeon who specifically deals with these cases. I recommend surgery vs non surgical treatment.

The good news....: Is that many children that would have undergone surgery to address clubfoot in the past are successfully managed with casting alone! the ponsetti technique has been taught to thousands worldwide and has resulted in excellent results without the undesirable side effects of surgery. For an pediatric orthopaedic surgeon (md) in your area go to www.Posna.Org.

Club foot: Early progressive ponseti method casting will help most infants. Work on adductus, then varus, then equinus in that order.

See a doctor: There still may be a lot that can be done for you by strappings, bracing, custom made shoes, surgery, etc. Don't give up!
