Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) is commonly diagnosed at age 41, and characterized by loose "stretchy" skin, mobile joints, dislocation of hips. There are 13 kinds of EDS, including mild varieties, which make late diagnosis common. Ask your physician to order special testing to determine this diagnosis.
