Club foot: Treatment starts with a good evaluation by a pediatric orthopedist so that the baby's plan of care is clear. Usually, after initial x-rays, the foot is casted, with the cast re-done frequently (sometimes as often as every week), to stretch out the tight ligaments/tendons. If the serial casting doesn't adequately treat the condition, then surgery may be indicated - that s tailored to each child.

Detailed evaluation: Followed by possible serial casting to gradually realign the bones properly - the immediate course of therapy that should be taken without major delays.
