Yes for a short time: It is normal to feel some pain for a few days after a pulpotomy. If pain persists or is very severe you should return to your dentist.

It might: Having discomfort after pulpotomy is very normal and is not something to worry about. It sounds like the rct was not completed so be sure to go back to the dentist and have it completed.
