Bio

I graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine located in Boston, MA in 1999. After finishing school I completed an Advanced Education of General Dentistry in Somerdale, NJ in 2000. After honing my skills in a couple of office I acquired the Pennslyvania Center for Dental Excellence in 2007. I reside in Blue Bell, PA with my wife Risa and 5 year old son Aidan.

When : When a bridge is inserted it is normal for the bite to need some adjusting. Normally it is done outside the mouth but may need to be altered slightly intra-orally. There is nothing to be concerned with, nothing unhealthy and it should not weaken the bridge.

Yes : Yes a toothache can affect the whole side of your face. Dental pain cannot cross the midline but commonly there is referred pain from top to the bottom and vice versa. I would call your dentist and make an appointment to find out why you are having discomfort. Good luck.

If : If you went to the dentist in february 2012 and he said that he saw signs of cancer than you need to go have it checked. Oral cancer is 80-90% success rate if found early. I would call an oral surgeon and go to him and see if they can biopsy the area. That is the only way to truly know if in fact you have a cancerous lesion in your mouth. Good luck.
