Soon after one week.: The pulpotomy procedure is not intended to be long term. It is a short term fix. I would obtain definitive care as soon as i could following the first week after the pulpotomy.

2 weeks to a month: Normally after the upper part of the nerve gets cut , and properly medicated , it well be ok for 3/4 weeks tel complete root canal treatment is done or extraction in un savable teeth for infections beyond treatment or fracture.
