Is swelling and a bump above area of an emergency pulpotomy normal after the procedure? i had this done this morning on a badly infected front tooth.

This may: indicate some periapical process (infection) which occurred prior to the pulpectomy. It is now draining and hopefully that will help. Speak with your treating Dental Professional ! Hope this helps Dr Z

Sign of infection: This may or may not have started before your appointment, but you should speak with your provider about it right away--it's LOTS easier (and safer) to address this type of thing sooner rather than later.
