Finishing Root canal: Most root canal fillings take about an hour on any tooth to finish but a molar having more canals takes about 90 minutes. Be advised , a core filling is still needed, and a crown or cap later to protect the tooth during chewing.

1-3 visits: Most root canals can be done in a single visit (pulpotomy and root canal filling). However, sometimes due to infection or advanced anatomy, it may take multiple visits (1-3).
