Try an : Oral antiinflammatory like alleve or motrin. If pain persists see your doctor.

Rest and NSAIDs: Continue ice and the brace. Try adding a NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) like Naproxen for a few weeks. To reduce the inflammation. Be aware that if you are taking an ace inhibitor for hypertension that nsaids can block the anti hypertensive effect and cause your blood pressure to be less well controlled. You may need to consult you doctor to adjust your meds.
