Since you already: Know that you have a neuropathy, presumably you saw a doctor already and some kind of workup for the cause of the neuropathy was done (i.e. Check for diabetes). Neuropathy itself can cause the pains you have. A specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation or neurology can do other tests like emg/nerve conduction studies to look for other causes like a tarsal tunnel syndrome.

Neuropathy can be due to certain vitamin deficiencies, nerve damage due to trauma, alcohol consumption, radiation, side effects of certain medications, or due to certain medical conditions such as diabetes. Treatment varies depending on the cause of the problem. Have it evaluated and appropriately treated.
