Got bit by a tick and within 24 hours went to hospital and got blood work that came back negative. they gave me 2 pills that were an antibiotic. don't remember the name of antibiotic. should i go back and get more antibiotic to be safe?

See below: Generally speaking, it takes at least 48 hours for a tick to transmit the illness, whatever disease that it might be carrying like lyme, rocky mountain spotted fever, etc. If your tick was on less than 24 hours, then it, most likely, did not transmit any infection, so antibiotics are likely not needed. The fact that the doc gave you 2 meds doesn't make sense to me - tx is always longer.
