Neuroma : A neuroma is an inflammation of the nerve in the ball of the foot. It commonly effects the nerve that supplies the 3rd and 4th toes. There are other possible causes, of course, and you should see a podiatrist for a comprehensive exam and proper diagnosis.

Nerve: You may have a neuroma or nerve compression. Could just be swelling or joint inflammation.

Ring toe: As said, it could be neuronal. Could also be tendonitis, capsulitis. The only way to know is to see your podiatrist and get an exam and x rays.
