Call Your Dentist: It is not unusual to have pain for several days, but "the pain is bad & with a headache." most dentists have an answering service who can reach them with emergency problems such as yours. You may have to call the answering service again if your dentist does not respond to the initial page. If you still have no response find a dentist who can see you or have an er doctor evaluate you at a hospital.

Call your dentist: It is normal to have some pain after a root canal, usualy tenderness. If you close your teeth together and the first tooth that touches is your root canal tooth than that could be the reason for your pain. You have to call your provider and inform him of the issues.
