Lesion on the head: Unfortunately, one in every five Americans is diagnosed with skin cancer. A mole that is changing in size and shape is concerning. The area behind the ear is also home to various small nerves that govern the back of the head which may be irritated and alerting us of a problem. I would discuss with a physician who may decide to get a biopsy or the lesion.
