P90X: An immensely popular, but rigorous, in-home dvd-based fitness program. This might need to be "modified" to accommodate pre-existing fitness levels and age. But, generally, it incorporates aerobic and resistance training in sequence. Done consistently, it has been shown to be highly effective in all demographic segments of the population. Good luck!
