Variable: While liposuction is never used for weight loss as it is for contouring areas of the body, you could possibly lose as much as five pounds with large volume liposuction.

Not as much as you..: Would like. Even large volume liposuction is not a weight loss treatment. The reason to do liposuction is to treat localized deposits of fat that are unresponsive to diet, weight loss and exercise.

Not 4 Weight Loss!: You are buying into the hype that liposuction is for weight loss. This may end up with you being very disappointed.

Inches, not Pounds: Liposuction will change you in inches more than in pounds. It works best for localized deposits of fat that don’t respond to conventional diet and exercise. The correction from surgery is permanent. But since you asked about weight, the answer depends on how heavy you are to start with. The most I have removed in one surgery is about 22 lbs, or 11 liters of fat. Think of 5 - 2 liter pop bottles..
