Liposuction is Safe: Often liposuction is performed under local anesthesia so it is very safe. Cleanliness is important to avoid infection. Doc needs to be well trained, so look into their background. Also helps to see a few docs before you do it. Liposuction takes away bulges but does not lead to weight loss. Gaining weight after liposuciton will cause irregularities and unevenness. So keep your weight stable.

All surgery carries some risk. When performed in the correct environment, by an experienced and well trained surgeon, the risks are small. Under these circumstances, liposuction is safe and effective. Liposuction is not a weight loss method, so if you gain weight after liposuction, the fat is going to collect again.
