Yes--by sweating off: You will not be able to lose 3500 calories (value of 1lb) in 20 min of exercises on the treadmill, but you can certainly lose a pound or more from sweating. Wearing sweat pants/shirts/hood and running hard for 20 min will cause much sweating and losing a pound is easy, but this is only water--which will reaccumulate when you drink fluid. Losing real wt is hard work! consult doc. Good luck.
