Yes!: You bet! Just don’t make your goals too big - 40 minutes a day might be a lot - maybe start with 3x/week? Or 20 min daily? Along with your plan to cut down on calories! Be sure to check with your doctor with any new symptoms after starting exercise - especially with any chest pain, difficulty breathing, dizziness, etc.
