Start with exercise: Scoliosis is usually a painfree condition if it is the type you have had since your childhood . Over time, there are degenerative changes in the spine that may be accelerated by abnormal spinal mechanics if the curve is large & it involves the lower back, especially. Begin with exercising, lose weight if overweight and stop smoking if you have this habit. If this doen't help see a specialist.
