Many possibilities: This could simply be a result of mild dehydration with hemoconcentration, or it could indicate the presence of what may be called an "active bone marrow". The cause for this must be determined in combination with a detailed history, physical exam and assessment by a knowledgeable and thoughtful doctor. Good luck, hope you stay well.
