All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, a hemoglobin variant may be an explanation and that would require an addition test that your doctor can order. Wish you good health!

Is an RDW of 16 concern? Hemaglobin in the 10's, mcv, mch, mchc all in the low normal. Hgb 10.6, RBC 3.99 platelets 262, lymph/mono/seg % normal.
