Body aches....: You should consult the doctor that prescribed your penicillin so he/she can reevaluate. It might be the disease or the drug. More history information and physical examination and possibly some lab tests are needed to answer your question. If you have been on antibiotic for seven days and are not getting better, it is very important to see your doctor again.

Unlikely: Depending upon the reason for the prescription for penicillin, the diagnosis may or may not be correct. If not, the symptoms may be related to a viral, rather than a bacterial infection. You should check back with the doctor who saw you originally and go over the course of your illness with them.
