Dysuria: Burning with urination can be a symptom of a urinary tract infection. Since penicillin doesn't always cover all of the possible bacteria in the urine, a urinalysis with culture should be performed. Notify your doctor right away if you notice blood in your urine, because this could be related to your recent Strep infection in the form of glomerulonephritis.
