May go away: Vv present during pregnancy often resolve several week after delivery, though with more pregnancies they tend to get worst with each one. Nothing you can do to "be sure" that they go away. Use compression hose for symptomatic relief, but they don't cure the problem. Seek help of phlebologist if vv persist and are symptomatic. Go to www.Phlebology, org, and seek one according to zip code.

They don't : Your veins will probably shrink after your pregnancy and become much less apparent but the venous insufficiency that you have with these veins won't ever go away unless you have treatment. As dr. Isobe said, you should see a vein specialist after your pregnancy. A venous evaluation with a standing duplex ultrasound will show the full extent of the problem and clarify how it should best be treated.
