I am the emeritus Chief of Plastic Surgery at INOVA loudoun hospital (2010-2013) in Leesburg Virginia and Medical Director at Mountcastle Plastic Surgery & Vein Institute. My practice focuses on breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks and Vein surgeries. i have offices located in Ashburn and Reston Virginia.

Subungal melanoma : Biopsy does require lifting the nail to biopsy the area. But local numbing is used so you don't feel that.

Stockings don't : Help. Movement helps. Dvts arise from stasis of blood on veins or from trauma. You need to get up every hour or so to help prevent dvt.
