Stress relief: If stress occurs at work, take periodic breaks to stand, stretch, breath deeply. Take a walk during lunch break if possible. Learn to meditate: 10 minutes can seem like a couple hours' rest. At home, exercise every day to loosen stiff muscles & distract mind from problems. Pick a relaxing hobby. Learn tai chi. Eat healthful meals; get plenty of rest; avoid too much caffeine/stimulant drinks.

E-A-S-E: Manage stress by eliminating it from your life (be assertive; delegate; take breaks & vacations) by altering the impact of the stressor (problem solving; time management; social/group action) by shifting your outlook (reduce unrealistic expectations, irrational beliefs & negative self-talk) & by easing your response (relaxation, exercise & good nutrition). Counseling & biofeedback can help.
