About

Bio

I'm a retired licensed clinical psychologist in Colorado and was board certified in biofeedback by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) from 1982 to 2010. I have specialized training in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I was an Army officer and combat helicopter pilot in Vietnam and have experience working with military veterans. I was a police psychologist for 11 years and have more than 25 years experience with Critical Incident Stress Management for a variety of first responders (police officers, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, National Park rangers).

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
