A member asked:

Is it normal for a woman aged 52 years old?to still get periods?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is possible: If you have your menarhe later than usual compare to other people, then you will have menopause later.Mostnpeople go to the change in the 40"s, but few can be as late as in the mid 50"s or so. If periods are off and on, then you need to see doctor for blood test, even endometrial biopsy for cancer of uterus.
