Were the ovaries also removed? If yes, you will not get periods. Even if the ovaries were not removed, it is possible that at about the same time you entered menopause. You doctor can do blood tests to verify if you are menopausal. Wish you good health!

At "46" years of age, ovulation is delayed secondary to aging eggs, which require higher levels of stimulation to become available for fertilization, resulting in delays of menstruation. True menopause statistically occurs in early 50's, and post ovulatory menses will usually resume prior to then.
