Not very difficult: Most breast reduction patients say that the pain is like that from doing too many pushups: soreness in the chest muscles. It should easily be controlled with the medication given to you by your surgeon. Most patients return to regular activities in 10-14 days.

Usually not bad.: Breast reduction recovery is usually not that hard on people. Upper body exercise needs to be avoided for a few weeks, but women are usually able to get around pretty well. It is not anywhere as limiting as say a tummy tuck.

Not too Bad: Generally, most patients do very well after breast reduction surgery. This operation tends to be less painful than other operations such as breast augmentation or tummy tuck surgery. Most patients require pain medication for approximately one week after the procedure. Generally speaking, breast reduction surgery tends to be one of the most patient pleasing operations performed.
