Suture: You had breast reduction surgery. The knot from your suture may be what you are feeling. The body responds to surgery by inflammation. Over time it goes down. As long as swelling is not hot or red. Avoid any creams unless instructed by your surgeon.

Incisional "lump": Three weeks after any kind of surgery there is swelling of the incisional line, usually causes by inflammation secondary to the suture (stitches) material. If the incision is not red and with drainage coming from the incision line, it is probably normal post operative reaction. Check with your surgeon to be certain it is not infected.
