Can you snowboard?if you have ?a cervical disc herniation?

Yes-i can snowboard.: If i had a symptomatic cervical disc i'd stick to blue runs and not totally shred the slope.A herniated cervical disc can lead to major problems but if you don't traumatize the neck you should be O.K.

It depends: It depends on the size and location of the herniation, the degree of narrowing of the spinal canal, presence of spinal cord swelling, and whether there is evidence of cord irritation on neurological exam. If these findings are present, activities such as snowboarding would not be recommended until the cervical problem is resolved.

Not if it hurts: If you have recovered and have no symptoms, then yes. If you are currently symptomatic, not advised.
