A member asked:

How are cervical disc herniation and cervical disc encroachment different?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Encroachment: Any condition limiting space for the nerves causes encroachment. A herniated disc would cause encroachment. A bone spur would also cause. Encroachment does not imply pressure, or severity, or the presence of symptoms.
