Depends on your age: To be prudent you should confirm your multivitamin needs and intake with your primary doctor. Your multivitamin needs, if any, will depend on your diet, health issues, sex and age.

See below: There is no one best multivitamin. For independent ratings of multivits see http://www.Multivitaminguide.Org/ any in the top 25 or so are good, but since 1/3 of people have difficulty converting Folic Acid to the active form l-5-mthf i advise one that has that such as ultranutrient by pure encapuslaions or ultrapreventive x by douglas. Most people need an extra 5000 iu of vit d in winter months.

Wasting money: Multivitamins are a big scam by the industry, and can be dangerous as well as irritation to your GI tract. If you have a specific and proven deficiency, then please take that vitamin. Otherwise, stop taking any multivitamin and save your money. Buy a membership in a gym and exercise more. Exercise has proven health benefits, while multivitamins do not.
